Report on Employment Opportunities for the Human Services Industries 2005 Under the conditions of its resource agreement, HSTAC is required to provide industry specific labour market data to the NT Department of Employment, Education and Training. This data value adds to the labour market database developed by the department to operate across government. The report is also a valuable resource of industry specific data for registered training organisations, enabling them to target training delivery and resources more effectively; and for industry to strengthen their arguments for the distribution of funding and other resources. Advanced Diploma of Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) Practice in VET Recognition of Prior Learning & Training ProjectTAFE SA is currently implementing the 2006 Advanced Diploma of Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice in VET Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Gap Training Project on behalf of the Department of Education Science and Training. This diploma was accredited through South Australia in August 2005 and has been registered in National Training Information System (NTIS) as a national qualification. The project aims to accredit a number of LLN educators across Australia to gain the qualification through the Recognition of Current Competencies/Prior Learning and skill-gaps training process. It is expected the first group of educators gaining this qualification, or part of the qualification, will be able to deliver and assess the qualification in states and territories in future.
